i've always been drawn to ephemera- to things that seem momentary. transient. yet here they sit in a collection i have dragged along from place to place, found in thrift stores, estate sales, antique shops, flea markets, & even the trash behind abandoned buildings.

i find myself wondering about the people behind them. what their lives looked like beyond the frame. how these places have changed. whether, standing in the same spot, i would have been drawn to the same image. whether we shared the same eye...

TEMPORARY FOREVER is a place for these forgotten fragments to continue existing. not to uncover every story or answer every question, but simply to preserve them- to let them be seen again after nearly disappearing.

i believe that what we choose to collect says something about who we are.
